Code · Clean · Visualize · Converse · Immerse Intercollegiate Informatics & Emerging Technology Challenge VISTAQuest 2026 is a premier intercollegiate technical event organized by the Department of Informatics, in association with the VISTA (Visionaries of Intelligent Systems, Technology, and Analytics) and the Informatics Club, Periyar Maniammai Institute of Science & Technology (PMIST). The competition encourages students to apply their technical knowledge through hands-on challenges in web development, data science, AI-powered chatbots, and immersive technologies (AR/VR/XR).
(Website Development Challenge) Objective: Design and develop a creative and functional website based on a theme or problem statement provided during the event.
(Data Cleaning Challenge) Clean and pre-process messy datasets to prepare them for analysis.
(Data Visualization Challenge) Transform a dataset into meaningful visual insights using charts, dashboards, or infographics.
(Chatbot Creation Challenge) Design and develop a chatbot capable of interacting with users and answering queries related to the given problem.
(Immersive Technology Challenge) Design and develop an interactive immersive experience using AR, VR, or XR technologies based on the problem statement provided during the event.
